This study is the result of the project “Gender Equality in Transport in Serbia” (GETS) implemented by the Dornier Consulting International GmbH and SeConS Development Initiative Group, on behalf of the Coordination Body of Gender Equality (CBGE) and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure (MCTI) of the Republic of Serbia, with support of the World Bank.
The main purpose of the study is to provide evidence for policies addressing gender equality in transport. Having in mind that transport is one of the key sectors that influences access to resources, gender specific capacities for mobility are critical for participating in the economy and society and contributing to development, but also for personal wellbeing of citizens and quality of life.
