Short training programmes in public policy analysis will be organized from 15 March 2021 in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Niš. The programme is intended for everyone who works in public policy or wants to learn more about the preparation of strategies and plans, as well as influence regulations in the most important areas such as – employment, health, education, environment, science, economic and technological development, agriculture etc.
The selection and content of trainings are designed to address professionals who have at least a bachelor’s degree, experience in working with public administration or a desire to improve in that career direction. Also, trainings can be attended by researchers from different fields who want to master the methodology and knowledge for achieving the impact of their research on important social decisions.
The training programme was created in the past two years within the Erasmus + project Public Policy Making and Analysis. The main goal of the project is to introduce educational programmes in the field of analysis and policy making as part of lifelong learning at three universities in Serbia – Novi Sad, which coordinates the project, Belgrade and Niš. In addition, domestic partners in the project are the Republic Secretariat for Public Policies and the Personnel Management Service of the Government of Serbia, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, several NGOs, as well as three renowned EU universities – University of Leiden, King’s College London and University of Paris- Est Creteil.
Tuition for the first generation of students will be covered from the budget of the Erasmus + project “Interdisciplinary short-cycle programmes in public policy making and analysis (PPMA)”.
