The research on women and employers in the Jablanica and Pčinja districts represents the first phase of the project “She Knows” – Economic Empowerment of Women. The aim of this project is to enhance women’s economic inclusion by improving employment, self-employment, and business opportunities while reducing barriers and gender biases in the workplace. The project is implemented by Impact Hub Belgrade from 2024 to 2027 with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and is conducted in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), the Center for Development of the Jablanica and Pčinja Districts, and Erste Bank.
SeConS Development Initiative Group is responsible for conducting the analysis and writing the report based on the research findings. The results will be used to inform the project implementation partners on how their support and future interventions in the Jablanica and Pčinja districts should be tailored to provide the most adequate support to women in finding sustainable employment.
