On 18 November, an award ceremony was held at Hotel Tamiš in Pančevo following a completed call for the selection of good practice examples demonstrating successful knowledge transfer and support to women-led agricultural holdings.
The awards were presented within the framework of the Climate Change Resilience and Irrigation Project in Serbia, implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Government of Japan. The aim of the call was to highlight individuals and initiatives contributing to the strengthening of women’s capacities in agriculture, the development of rural communities, and the promotion of gender equality.
Bojana Nešić was recognized for her outstanding dedication to improving knowledge and skills among women-led agricultural holdings, as well as for her significant contribution to rural development, the empowerment of women in agriculture, and the promotion of gender equality.
Ivana Mišković received the award for her exceptional commitment and dedicated work as the owner of an agricultural holding, as well as for her contribution to the development of the rural community, the improvement of the position of women in agriculture, and the promotion of gender equality.
