“Rapid Assessment of Child Begging in Montenegro” is conducted within the programme “Measurement, awareness-raising and policy engagement to accelerate action against child labour and forced labour – MAP’16”, implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and funded by the United States Department of Labour. Within this project, SeConS is engaged to assess the intensity and characteristics of child begging (having in mind the gender dimension, ethnicity of children, then whether the child lives with parents or not, whether he/she lives on the street or not, etc.), as well as to identify and describe the causes and consequences of child begging, including exposure to violence. Special attention will be paid to the forms and context in which child begging occurs in specific locations in Montenegro.
