The project “Prevent Bullying and Peer Violence in Schools” is currently being implemented by the Council of Europe in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and is funded by Germany. Within the framework of the project, the SeConS Development Initiative Group is responsible for conducting research, analyzing, and reporting on the obtained results. The research team consists of experts with years of experience in studying peer violence in schools.
The primary goal of the research is to identify key areas where intervention is necessary to establish a safe school environment. The research will be conducted across Serbia on a representative sample of primary and secondary schools and will include three groups of respondents (students in the 5th and 7th grades of primary and the 1st and 2nd grades of secondary schools, parents of students, and employees, including directors and professional associates). The sample will be designed to enable conclusions at the level of four statistical regions (Belgrade region, Vojvodina region, Šumadija and Western Serbia region, Southern and Eastern Serbia region). Based on the collected data, recommendations will be developed for improving policies in the field of children’s education.
