New Gender Equality Index for the Republic of Serbia is now available
The new report, “Gender Equality Index for the Republic of Serbia 2024 — Gender Aspects of Time Use”, is now publicly available in Serbian and English.
The report presents the current situation and changes across six key domains of gender equality — work, money, knowledge, time, power and health. A dedicated thematic chapter examines gender differences in time use, including paid and unpaid work, leisure activities, childcare and family responsibilities.
The publication is the result of cooperation between the Cabinet of the Minister without Portfolio, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, UN Women and SeConS Development Initiative Group, in collaboration with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE).
