The women over 45 are one of the most vulnerable groups in the labor market in Serbia. The project was conducted with the aim to throw light throw light on the position of women 45+ from various aspects, as well as to compare it with younger women, with male peers in Serbia, but also with women in other countries, primarily in the European Union.

The analysis comprehended data obtained by quantitative and qualitative method. The data on the Labor Force Survey (ARS) from 2016 - which is carried out quarterly by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia and which is the most important source of data on the labor market - was analyzed to a great extent.

The analysis results are presented in the publication "Labor market in Serbia – The position of women over 45 / Denial of rights to dignified work". Besides, the goal is to point out different problems that these women face with in the labor market, to alarm the interested public, particularly decision makers, as well as to indicate different forms of support and measures for improving their condition.
