Which gender inequalities are manifested in specific phases of life? How are they reflected in later life phases, thereby creating unequal chances for women and men? Are there any intergenerational changes with regard to gender inequality?
The most recent SeConS research on socio-economic gender inequality in the Republic of Srpska, reveals from the dynamic perspective of life courses in which aspects gender inequalities are manifested and what their roots as well as their consequences are.
Obtained findings will soon be presented in a study, in separate chapters which will relate to children, adults, and the elderly. A separate chapter will be dedicated to the analysis of intergenerational differences, i.e. changes that occurred, or did not occur.
This study on socioeconomic gender inequalities was conducted by SeConS in Republika Srpska for the needs of the Gender Centre and supported by UN Women BiH.
