End poverty in all its forms everywhere. SDG 1 calls for an end to poverty in all its manifestations by 2030. It also calls for social protection of the poor and vulnerable and their increased access to basic services. Poverty in Serbia is measured in line with EU SILC methodology since 2013. According to at-risk-of-poverty-rate, more than quarter of population in Serbia is at risk of financial poverty. Data for 2013-2016 indicate persistence of risks of financial poverty as there is no significant change. In comparison to EU member states and Macedonia as candidate country, Serbia had the highest at-risk-of-poverty-rate in 2015.
